The official objective
Two teams compete for the higher kill count.
This rule is confirmed by the official Steam description. Detailed scoring limits, timers, team sizes and mode-specific unlock restrictions are not verified in the sources used for this guide. Read the current match settings and in-game objective prompts for those details.
Win fights together
The following is a reasoned practice approach based on the stated objective, not a claim of hands-on testing or a proven competitive strategy. Use it to decide what to observe during your own session.
- Find a teammate’s route and decide how you can support it. Team coordination here serves a direct goal: giving your side a better chance to win each engagement.
- Use cover between engagements. Before moving into a street or doorway, decide where you can break line of sight if the first shot misses.
- Review repeated deaths as route information. If one lane keeps producing a losing fight, change the approach instead of repeating the same peek.
A decision to watch for
Pushing alone after a good team fight can immediately return the advantage you just earned. A reload or regroup is often a more deliberate next step than pursuing the last visible target.
Try a focused bot session
The official bot-match feature lets you select a map, mode and match settings. Select GangBang, read its objective indicators and practice one route. Check the game's own progress displays if you want to know whether the session advances any unlock; bot XP and challenge rules are not confirmed here.
