The official objective
Every player competes individually; the most kills wins.
This rule is confirmed by the official Steam description. Detailed scoring limits, timers, team sizes and mode-specific unlock restrictions are not verified in the sources used for this guide. Read the current match settings and in-game objective prompts for those details.
Watch your exits
The following is a reasoned practice approach based on the stated objective, not a claim of hands-on testing or a proven competitive strategy. Use it to decide what to observe during your own session.
- Before an engagement, identify an exit and a second angle to watch. Without teammates covering a flank, that responsibility stays with you.
- After a kill, reassess instead of assuming the area is safe. Other players can be drawn to the same location, and no nearby character is automatically friendly.
- Use the mode to notice which fights you can disengage from. Learning when to leave an exposed lane can be as useful as practicing the opening shot.
A decision to watch for
Following one target across several open angles can turn a one-on-one into a fight against multiple opponents. Check the surroundings before committing to the chase.
Try a focused bot session
The official bot-match feature lets you select a map, mode and match settings. Select Chaos, read its objective indicators and practice one route. Check the game's own progress displays if you want to know whether the session advances any unlock; bot XP and challenge rules are not confirmed here.
